Dr. Connor’s background in exotic animal medicine has
provided her with extensive experience working with birds, reptiles,
amphibians, and pocket pets. She has served on the board of the Association of
Avian Veterinarians and is the registered agent for the Association of Reptile
and Amphibian Veterinarians. She has been President of the Snohomish Veterinary
Medical Association for the past 10 years.
Dr. Connor’s experience with large animal and zoo medicine influences her practical, “do no harm” approach to treating her patients. Dr. Connor tries not to just treat symptoms, but to find the cause of the problem. Preferring to begin with non-invasive, non-painful, inexpensive approaches to a problem, she focuses on factors such as nutrition and environment, especially when evaluating chronic problems, or when giving second opinions.
